Analysis of Employment Data
First lets gather the data from the article:

Next, get the census data for the states :

Here we add the population data to the raw numbers from the article with a map function:

Group the states by those that increased minimum wage or not:

Convert the percentage change figures to be weighted by the population of each state:

Finally, figure out the mean employment change figure:

The first number is the percentage change in employment for states that did not increase mimimum wage and the second one is for those that did. The first number is higher.
